One of the foremost eco-tourism sites in Penang, situated on the hilly terrain of the Teluk Bahang, covering 25 acres of organic land with more than 250 fruits from all around the world and utilizes only organic fertilizers.
Tropical Fruit Farm was built to preserve our Green Heritage and promote a positive role towards agriculture and eco/ agro-tourism amid the intensive development in our country rural areas.
Since 1998, the farm has acquired many rare and exotic fruit trees and has successfully harvest it here. And the success of the harvest is due to the uses of organic fertilizer which are processed here in the farm.
Fruit wastes from the farm are collected to produce the organic fertilizer which works towards a cleaner environment, presently and for the future.
The farm daily guided tours will educated local and foreign guests while promoting the role of agriculture, apart from conserving rare fruit trees.
Guests will also have the opportunity to view the transformation of fruits into enzyme for healthy living and nuts into a wellness oil. From the viewing, guests will learn the various stages of process & finally the end products which can be tasted.
